I promise to spend some time and organize my photos from the past few months and properly add them to the blog, so you can see what we've been up to. Life has been crazy beautiful as well as a roller coaster ride from hell, and I'm fit to be tied! One thing for sure, 2009 will be a momentous journey for me, for my family...Please come back soonBrenda Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12242406154664506207noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860117626300789977.post-55804074508791968492008-10-24T22:51:00.000-07:002009-08-21T11:09:30.739-07:00Update...My dad recently completed his third round of powerful chemotherapy and 2nd stem cell transplant up at the Huntsman Center in SLC. He returned home on Tuesday, very sick and extremely drained. After putting his body through so much, he is weaker than a kitten at the moment. We are hoping by Thanksgiving he will be up for some turkey or at least have an appetite for something other than Ensure, Brenda Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12242406154664506207noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860117626300789977.post-23501218149963549612008-10-24T22:39:00.000-07:002008-11-09T15:12:47.424-08:00Celebrity Looksters....My friends from high school have a "Friend Blog" in which we write, basically helping us to keep tabs on one another. We swap stories from the old days, which (to me) is awesome because guys and girls always seem to remember details totally differently - for whatever reason - but as the years go by, we continue to make new memories with each other. I love these friends dearly! Seriously, the workers just up and left, for whatever reason, leaving everything behind. It didn't look like much on the outside, but inside were 3 levels with a 'scarier than hell' basement level (not to mention the fact that everything looked like it was going to collapse at any given second...)! We had a blast! It was a little chilly out as we fished in the bay, but we met and hung out with some incredibly fun people and had an awesome time!It was not a great day for fishing, as only a few of us had catches, but I would take that trip again in a heartbeat! What made it special was our buddy Dennis Vanausdal and his boys were able to join us. They have had a rough year and just recently moved from Wasilla, Alaska. His wife, Jennifer (our favorite volleyball teammate), and the boys were in a terrible car accident in February. Actually, I meant to say a BUTT LOAD of yard work. So much needed to be done - chainsawing down the big apple tree and parts of the chokecherry trees, oh and the snowball bush that was like 15 feet tall and derelict rose bushes - then hauling it all to the front yard, loading it on the trailer Brenda Leehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12242406154664506207noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8860117626300789977.post-90155954995839910502008-09-09T21:43:00.000-07:002008-09-10T11:07:59.894-07:00Hangin' with the DeschampsWe combined family night with our dear friends Dave & Ginger Deschamps and their kiddos. They met us at our house and we made a huge pot of spaghetti with the works, ala Ginga, and then headed to the Provo River bike trail and took a ride out to Utah Lake. SO FUN! We giggled all the way there and back, ending up at the skate park off Geneva Road. They came walking through the back door at around 10:45, toting in a large cooler...a good sign, YES! It was Chris who got lucky.
